Answers about training, licensing, and classes
To get your New Mexico Concealed Carry License, you’ll complete a certified training course and pass a background check. I’ll guide you through every step.
No experience is required but a basic level of handgun proficiency is recommended. My classes are friendly and cover all the basics, including safe firearm handling and legal requirements.
The standard course is required by the state to be 15 hours, over two days. Flexible scheduling is available to fit your needs. Classes are no bigger than 6 people.
Yes, a private hand gun proficiency course is available and recommended (if needed) to be taken prior to the concealed carry course (but not required).
